Data lab – Data Cleaning Issues and Strategies

This Data Lab we are going to play “Data Cleaning Bingo™”

We are going to talk about a number of types of data issues and strategies on how to clean the data.

We want you to bring along a laptop (if you are able) with one of your data sets. Also a tool to use for data cleaning (Excel is fine but if you use other tools bring them along as well). We will see who can fill the Bingo card first!

 

Some topics are fixed (e.g. the third Wednesday in every month is a Power BI lab) and the other sessions will be announced typically with 2 weeks notice.

We aim to run a minimum of 3 labs per month

Stephen is the CEO of DAVHILL Group, a Business Intelligence and Data Analytics company based in Ottawa, Ontario.

As a Business Intelligence and Process Transformation consultant he seems to spend most of his time either playing with aircraft in the aviation industry or with the Federal Canadian Government.
